The Federal Cabinet which met in Islamabad on Friday approved the introduction of a local government ordinance which would ultimately lead to deferment of LG elections in Islamabad.The Federal Cabinet also ratified the decisions of the Cabinet Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases (CCLC), the sources added.

The cabinet meeting was held under the chair of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.According to the agenda of the meeting, the overall situation in the country will also be discussed. The meeting will lay focus on country's economic and political situation.
