Police on Monday registered a first information report (FIR) against a woman for attacking and torturing a female polio worker in Lahore.The incident took place in Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore and the police registered the FIR on behalf of the in-charge of the polio team, Mohammad Ayaz Ashraf. 

Police said that when a polio team reached the home of the accused, who was identified as Samina Babar, she refused to let the polio team administer polio drops to her children. The female polio worker tried to convince her to administer the polio vaccine.

After this, Samina Babar became annoyed and attacked the polio team along with her two sons. During the clash, female polio worker Saba Taj was injured after a brick hit her head, bleeding her on the spot. The accused also damaged the scooty of the polio workers.
