Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Gen Asim Munir on Wednesday met Lieutenant General Fahad bin Saud, Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. According to ISPR, the high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation, regional security and strategic collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepen the longstanding brotherly military ties between their armed forces. The Saudi commander praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and appreciated Pakistan positive role in promoting regional peace and stability. On arrival at GHQ, Lt Gen Fahad bin Saud was accorded a formal guard of honour, marking the ceremonial start of his visit.
