A fire erupted at the Ministry of Science and Technology building in the federal capital on Tuesday afternoon. According to initial reports, the blaze broke out on the second floor of the building located in the G-5 sector. Officials said thick smoke was seen billowing from the windows shortly after the fire started, triggering panic among staff present in the building at the time.

Four fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the site. Rescue 1122 personnel also arrived at the scene to assist in the evacuation process and provide medical support if required.  The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
