Fire breaks out in Islamabad Margalla Hills forestsBreaking

A fire broke out in the forests of Margalla Hills in Islamabad. According to district administration spokesperson, the fire in the Margalla Hills has been completely brought under control by the relevant agencies, taking timely action. The rescue teams succeeded to extinguish the fire with all night efforts.

About 34 firefighters from the Environment Directorate participated in the operations. The fire broke out on the Margalla Hills within the boundaries of Islamabad and Punjab.  The fire was completely brought under control at 2:15 am.  Crews are still at the scene to ensure the cooling process.
