A massive fire broke out at a private chemical factory located in Multan industrial area on Monday morning. Rescue sources said that the fire incident occurred at the Yaqoob Chemical Factory situated in the Multan Industrial Estate. Rescue sources further revealed that chemicals which were stored in a godown, suddenly caught fire.

The godown was spread over an area of two canals. Soon after receiving the report of the incident, Rescue 1122 personnel, fire vehicles, and an ambulance rushed to the site. Rescue personnel initiated an operation to bring the fire under control and later started a cooling process. Six fire vehicles took part in the rescue operation.
