The police carried out a search operation and arrested five drug peddlers. The operation was conducted in the jurisdiction of Cantt Police Station and resulted in the recovery of more than 40 liters of liquor and over one kilogram of hashish. According to the police sources, the accused were actively supplying drugs at various locations of the city. Separate cases had been registered against the drug peddlers and further investigations were underway.
