Five persons were killed and another critically injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Ramban district of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).  According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred on the Senabati link road near Madina Masjid Hill in the Paristan area of Ukhral Tehsil.  Indian officials said that four of the six passengers onboard died on the spot, while two others sustained injuries. One of the injured later succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
