A girl was brutally killed with an axe, allegedly by her uncle, in Gaggo Mandi area of Vehari, police confirmed on Tuesday.According to media reports, the incident took place in village 273/E-B, under the jurisdiction of Tajpura Chowki, when the victim's paternal uncle launched an attack on her.According to reports, the suspect lured his niece into returning from Islamabad and, upon her arrival, he mercilessly ended her life. The police have registered a case and are actively pursuing the arrest of the perpetrator. This heinous crime reflects the issue of honor killings, which continue to plague society and require urgent.
