Gold prices significantly drops Breaking

Gold prices significantly dropped in both local and international market on Tuesday.  The price of per tola 24-karat gold fell by Rs4,000 to reach Rs450,862 while the rate of 10-gram dropped by Rs3,429 to Rs386,541.  In international market, the price of precious commodity recorded a decline of $40 to drop to $4,285 per ounce as investors turned cautious ahead of key US jobs and inflation data, which could provide cues for Federal Reserve policy heading into the new year. 

Meanwhile, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday maintained it bullish momentum as a dip in policy rate and petroleum prices has boosted investor confidence.  During intraday trading, the KSE-100 index has gained 610.24 points to climb to 171,351.58 points, reflecting a positive change of 0.36 percent compared to previous close of 170,741.34 points.
