Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam  has stated that government is giving top priority to the development and prosperity of all areas of the country, especially Gilgit-Baltistan.Talking to Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Justice (Retired) Yar Muhammad in Islamabad today, he stressed that maintaining law and order is essential for achieving sustainable development.

Amir Muqam emphasized that a peaceful environment remains a fundamental requirement for the successful promotion of tourism in the region. On this occasion, the Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan said continued support from the Federal Government will significantly strengthen the ongoing development process.During the meeting, both sides also held detailed discussions regarding the current law and order situation and various development matters in Gilgit-Baltistan.
