The Punjab Sahlulat Bazaar Authority and PARA Force Khanewal on Friday conducted a grand operation against encroachments in different parts of the city to remove illegal stalls and temporary shops and ensure a better-organized environment for citizens. PARA Enforcement Officer,Safir Hassan,along with Sahlulat Bazaar administration officials Engineer Abdul Rehman Qalzam and Engineer Saqib Sarfraz visited various areas and took action against illegal stalls and temporary shops.

Fines were also imposed on shopkeepers found violating the regulations.  During the operation, shopkeepers were directed to set up their Friday Bazaar stalls at the designated Friday Bazaar inside Sahlulat Bazaar instead of occupying roads and other public spaces.  The enforcement officer said the Friday Bazaar at Sahlulat Bazaar Khanewal had been made fully functional with necessary facilities and arrangements provided for traders and shoppers. 

He said citizens could purchase essential commodities at one place in a more organized,convenient and comfortable environment.  Safir Hassan said efforts would continue to improve facilities for citizens and ensure better management of Sahlulat Bazaar. He also appreciated the arrangements made by the Sahlulat Bazaar administration and termed its performance commendable.
