A human headless body was recovered from a house near Sardar Chowk Gulistan Johar Block-4 Mughal Hazara Goth in Karachi. According to rescue officials, the headless body found in the house was shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The headless body was identified as 32-year-old Imdad Hussain, rescue officials said. Police said it is suspected that the head found yesterday is from this torso, and that it will be confirmed after medical examination, however, the investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, a human head of an unidentified person was found in a stream in block H, North Nazimabad yesterday. Police sent the head to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal procedures. Reportedly, the head appeared to be approximately two days old. It was suspected that it floated from another location. Locals found it in the stream and informed the police. DNA testing is being conducted to help identify the victim.
