Extremely high-level flood in Pasrurís Nullah Dek has submerged dozens of villages and destroyed standing crops over hundreds of acres of land. Floodwaters have started flowing over roads connecting Narowal, Sialkot and Chawinda. The floodwater has entered villages including Sakroor, Dewali, Jandiala, Mangowal, destroying crops over hundreds of acres of land. In Zafarwal, four people drowned in the floodwaters.
Nullah Baein is also facing a flood situation, and the strong current has washed away the Darman Bridge. The road near the Lagwal Manhasan Wala Bridge has also been damaged, cutting off access to dozens of villages. Floodwater has also entered the Zafarwal grid station. Several villages in Union Council Sohdra have been affected. In Sialkot, a flood emergency has been declared, and rescue operations were carried out at Nullah Palkhu, River Tawi, Syedpur, and Kujah Chak.
A total of 243 people were relocated to safe places. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed gratitude for the safe rescue of 25 people trapped in the floodwater in Shakargarh. She praised the administration and rescue teams, saying in her message: "Every life is precious ó the team that rescued 25 people are national heroes."
