Islamabad Citizens Committee (ICC) held here a special get-together to mark the Pakistan Day, pledging to uphold independence's objectives. It unanimously adopted a resolution to pay rich tributes to fighters of independent movement. It was noted that March 23, 2025 marks the 85th anniversary of the historic Pakistan Resolution adopted in 1940, signifying the beginning of the heroic struggle of Muslims in the subcontinent for an independent homeland.

Whereas, this struggle culminated in the creation of Pakistan on August 14, 1947. The ICC reaffirmed its commitment to realizing the dream of Allama Iqbal and the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for a strong and prosperous Pakistan. It resolved, that the ICC endeavors to promote Pakistan as a beacon of peace, tranquility, and harmony in the world, standing at par with other nations.
