Capital City Police successfully traced the incident of blind murder by firing on motorcar near Peshawar General Hospital (PGH) at Phase 5, Hayatabad two months ago.  On the instructions of SP Cantt Division Abdullah Ehsan, the investigation team carried out under the supervision of SDPO Hayatabad Circle Muhammad Junaid Kharal and SHO Hayatabad Police Station Kamran Marwat 

The police have arrested the hired killer Muhammad Noman son of Wahid Shah and the facilitator Abdullah son of Zahoor involved in the murder during a comprehensive investigation carried out on modern scientific lines. During the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased Ahmed Ishtiaq was shot dead by his wife Misma (H), daughter of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Nowshera, in collaboration with her acquaintance Naeem Afghani and the deceased's sister-in-law Misma (J), daughter of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Nowshera, in a planned manner. 

A murder case was registered at Hayatabad Police Station on 09.12.2025 on the complaint of the deceased's brother, Shahryar Ahmed, son of  Ishtiaq Ahmed, regarding the incident, upon which the police took timely action and started an investigation.  During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the deceased had secretly married his wife in a court marriage without the permission of the family. 

The deceased's wife was a party girl and had close and friendly relations with a man named Naeem Afghani, who runs a spare parts business in Saudi Arabia, against whom Naeem Afghani had a grudge.  Based on this grudge, Naeem, along with the victim's wife, through the intermediary of his facilitator Abdullah, hired killer Kashif son of Rahat Shah, a resident of Teddy Bazaar, Jamrud, and Kashif through other hired friends Muhammad Noman son of Wahid Shah and Raj Muhammad son of Zar Muhammad, planned the murder for Rs. 1.4 million and carried out the crime. 

Raids are being conducted to arrest the victim's wife, her sister-in-law, and hired killers Kashif and Raj Muhammad, who were involved in the murder, while further interrogation of the arrested suspects is underway.  It should be noted that the arrested hired killers were also involved in the murder of Sheena Khan son of Ghiljay by firing on 08.12.2025 in Aamir Ayub Colony within the limits of Faqirabad police station for a contract money of Rs. 1 million.
