Indian forces have launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation, involving the Indian army, paramilitary forces and Special Operation Group (SOG), was launched in Chanapora, Saidpora, Saidapora Bala, Amshipora, and adjoining areas of the district. Reports have emerged that Indian forces barged into residential houses, subjected inmates to questioning and misbehaved with residents during the operation. Household belongings were also damaged and valuables looted by the forces during the searches.
