Indian forces have sharply intensified their military activities in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, escalating surveillance and cordon-and-search operations across the region in a bid to reinforce control and suppress resistance. According to Kashmir Media Service, personnel from the Indian Army, BSF, and CRPF have increased the use of advanced monitoring equipment and are conducting aggressive search and frisking operations in various villages and areas along the Line of Control in both the Kashmir Valley and Jammu region.
Indian forces have tightened their grip across Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, intensifying military operations and deepening an atmosphere of fear among the local population. With increased deployment of troops, frequent cordon and search operations, and the construction of additional bunkers, the region remains on edge. Villages along the Line of Control and in the interior are witnessing heightened surveillance and regular frisking, disrupting daily life and instilling a sense of insecurity.
The forces are also strengthening their military infrastructure in locations such as Gurez, Uri, Karnah, Tangdhar, Doodhpathri, and Sunderbani, where troops are regularly undergoing training and constructing additional bunkers, creating an environment of fear and heightened tension for the local population. On the other hand, Indian forces continued their large-scale cordon and search operation for the second consecutive day today in the Kirchi and Latti-Dudu-Basantgarh areas of Udhampur district.
The operation was initiated yesterday following reports of suspicious movement in the region, according to Indian police officials. Meanwhile, during a separate search operation in the Budran Magam area of Budgam district, Indian forces arrested two youth, identified as Muzammil Ahmad Butt and Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar.
