A day-long international conference on counter-terrorism will be held in the federal capital Islamabad on Wednesday (September 25). Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal will be the chief guest while domestic and foreign experts will address the conference. Renowned think tank Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICS) in collaboration with Bahria University Islamabad was organizing the one-day international conference on counter-terrorism. The conference was aimed at discussing Pakistan's achievements in counter-terrorism so far and to formulate actionable policy proposals. Minister Planning Ahsan Iqbal will inaugurate the conference while Pakistani and foreign experts will present papers. Experts, diplomats, writers, columnists, and students from universities and think tanks of the twin cities will participate in the conference to be held at Bahria University.
