Train operations on the Quetta route remain disrupted following an explosion on the railway track between Bakhtiarabad and Damboli, prompting the cancellation of Jaffer Express. Around 300 passengers were transported to Quetta via a shuttle train arranged by authorities. The train, which was en route from Peshawar to Quetta, was halted in Sibi after Thursday’s blast damaged the tracks.

Passengers were temporarily accommodated at the local circuit house by the district administration.The blast, which targeted the Karachi-bound Bolan Mail, caused partial damage to coach number seven. Rail traffic was suspended for several hours as security and rescue teams conducted a clearance operation on the affected section.
