On the directives of Director General Food Safety & Halal Food Authority Wasif Saeed and Deputy Commissioner Dera Abdul Nasir, a joint inspection drive was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Director Sajad Ahmed and the Assistant Commissioner Paharpur.During the operation, teams inspected various shops, general stores and milk outlets to examine cleanliness, the quality of edible items and compliance with hygiene standards. 

Samples of milk and other food products were collected from multiple locations and dispatched to the laboratory for analysis. Several shopkeepers were fined for violations, while others were summoned to the office of the Assistant Commissioner Paharpur to explain irregularities identified during the inspection. According to a spokesperson for the Food Authority, such operations will continue on a regular basis to ensure the availability of safe, quality and hygienic food to the public.
