The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has pledged promoting tourism in the valley and extending maximum facilities to the tourists visiting the valley. The 14th meeting of KDA’s Board of Authority was jointly presided over by Chairman Dr. Aimal Zaman Khan and Commissioner Hazara Division Aamir Sultan Tareen at Commissioner Office Abbottabad. The meeting was also attended by Director General KDA Tariq Khan, Deputy Directors Ameen ul Hassan and Sheraz Khan, Boar members Senior Advocate Zahid Mufti Idrees, Sahibzada Shoaib, Aamir Muneer, Chief Conservative Forest Yousaf Khan, PA to Commissioner Asim Abbas, Legal Advisor Tasleem Khan, KDA officials including Noman Khan, Iftikhar Khan, while Deputy Secretary Tourism and Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Shahid Bilal Rao participated meeting on zoom.

 Steps needed for provision of maximum facilities to tourists visiting the area remained key focus of the meeting and important decisions in this regard were made on the occasion. Assistant Director Accounts Iftikhar presented budget of the authority for fiscal year 2023-24 during the meeting. Deputy Director Ameen ul Hassan briefed the participants of the meeting about the development on construction of walking track on Lake Saif ul Malook road, hydropower project and other projects with cooperation of different organizations. The KDA meeting decided to mark August 14 and September 06, with national enthusiasm and for chalking out various competition programmes in Naran on the occasion
