The Khunjerab Top on the Pakistan-China border received the first snowfall of the winter season on Monday, turning the weather chilly, while at the same time enhancing the beauty of the area.A large number of tourists flocked to the area to enjoy the weather and to see the mountains covered in snow. On the other hand, the Met Office said on Monday that the weather would remain dry in most parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), during the next 24 hours. 

However, it said that the weather was expected to remain partly cloudy in south-eastern Sindh, while thundershowers were also expected at a few places later in the afternoon.  The Met Office further said that the upper parts of the country would receive rain from October 3 under the influence of a westerly wave.
