A meeting on law and order, chaired by Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, was held at the Chief Minister’s House.  The Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Additional Chief, and other relevant officials attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the current law and order situation in light of Bajaur incident. Relevant authorities briefed the Chief Minister on the latest developments. 

The meeting expressed condolences and sympathy to the families of the civilians and security personnel martyred in the Bajaur incident. The Chief Minister announced financial compensation of Rs. 10 million (1 crore) each for the families of the martyred civilians and security personnel, and Rs. 2.5 million (25 lakh) each for those injured.
