According to reports, the victim from the Kot Lakhpat area contacted emergency services by dialing 15. The Safe City team swiftly dispatched Kot Lakhpat police to the location while simultaneously monitoring the girl live through security cameras. Utilizing the camera network, authorities were able to trace the accused and swiftly arrest him. This incident highlights the importance of the Safe City program in safeguarding citizens. The report emphasizes the role of the "Women Safety App" developed by Punjab Police, urging women to install it for features like "Alert 15" and live chat, enabling them to reach help immediately. With over 300,000 downloads already, the app serves as a valuable tool for women's safety in the province.
