Looking after martyrs’ families is state’s duty:  Mohsin NaqviBreaking

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Saturday that it was the state’s duty to look after the families of the martyrs.Speaking to the family of Captain Muhammad Asif, who laid down his life while fighting against Fitnatul Hindustan terrorists in Balochistan, at Uch Sharif near Bahawalpur, the minister said that the sacrifices given by the martyrs’ families were simply unforgettable.

“The entire nation salutes the martyrs and their families,” he said, adding, “The government stands by the family of Asif and will continue to stand by it in the future as well.”Naqvi further said it is a belief of the Muslims that martyrs never die. “And Asif, too, will remain etched in our memories.”

He went on to say that despite the fact that Asif got injured while combating India-sponsored terrorists, he did not give up and stood firm like a rock. “I salute the parents of the martyred officer.” The minister, on the occasion, also watched the medals and awards won by Asif at a young age.
