A man burnt his wife by sprinkling petrol on her, due to which she received serious wounds and breathed her last at a hospital in Sargodha.The incident took place in Sargodha’s tehsil Sahiwal. Rescue sources said that the 25-year-old woman’s husband had contracted a second marriage.

The victim's heirs said that during a quarrel at their house, the husband sprinkled petrol on his wife and set her on fire. Rescue sources further revealed that the woman was brought from Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Sahiwal to Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital in Sargodha.
