A man in Lahore completely lost his senses as he killed his mother by repeatedly attacking her with a knife and seriously wounded his brother over a property dispute. The deceased, who was identified as Rizwana Bibi, was rushed to a hospital where she breathed her last.  Ali Hasnain, the suspect, managed to escape after committing the crime.  A case was registered at Sundar police station of the city. 

Police said they were carrying out raids and soon the suspect would be in their custody. On the other hand, police in Narowal arrested the man, who had killed his mother also over a property dispute.  According to the police, the woman had gone outside to purchase vegetables when Mohsin, her son, shot her dead in the middle of the road and fled.   Police said they had arrested the assassin from Gujranwala.
