A man strangled his elderly mother to death over property dispute in Lilyani police station jurisdiction in Sargodha on Wednesday. According to details, after exchange of hot words over property issues, accused Ehsan 45, strangled his 67-year-old mother Maqsoodan Bibi to death. The culprit threw that body of her mother into Lilyani canal and escaped the scene. The police and Rescue 1122 teams fished out the body from canal and shifted it to hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case into the incident and started raids to arrest the culprit.
