Managing Director (MD) Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Sialkot Abu Bakr Imran has been suspended with immediate effect after urban flooding in the city. Chief Officer District Council Sialkot Faisal Shahzad was given the additional charge of MD WASA.  Secretary Housing Noorul Amin Mengal said that Abu Bakr Imran was suspended for not making timely arrangements in an emergency situation. He said officers who are negligent in their duties will no longer be able to escape punishment.
