Meeting reviews arrangements for measles, rubella vaccination driveBreaking

A meeting was held with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Asmatullah Wazir in the chair to discuss matters regarding the upcoming national measles and rubella vaccination campaign.  According to the district administration, the meeting attended by representatives from all line departments reviewed in detail the arrangements for the vaccination campaign scheduled from November 17 to 29, focusing on field team preparations, public awareness, inter-departmental coordination, and monitoring mechanisms. 

Addressing the participants, DC said that protecting children from measles and rubella was a collective responsibility and in this regard no negligence should be tolerated.  “Prevention against measles and rubella is every child’s right. All departments must perform their assigned duties diligently no negligence will be tolerated,” he stated. 

He directed the Health Department to ensure timely availability of vaccines, equipment, and manpower, while instructing other departments to extend full cooperation for the campaign’s success.  All departments expressed their commitment to make the national immunization campaign a resounding success.
