Member, National Assembly (MNA) Aysia Naz Tanoli Wednesday visited the Ramzan Nigehban Dastarkhwan in Taxila and reviewed arrangements made for providing free Iftar meals to fasting citizens during the holy month of Ramzan.During her visit, she Tanoli interacted with volunteers and beneficiaries and appreciated the efforts of the local administration to ensuring smooth arrangements. 

The MNA said that the purpose of the Dastarkhwans and Ramzan Bazaars was to provide relief to low-income families and daily wage earners facing financial challenges. She highlighted that the Punjab government’s Ramzan initiatives aimed at ensuring that no deserving family was left unattended during the holy month. 

She added that special monitoring mechanisms had been put in place to maintain food quality, transparency and proper management. The people present at the Dastarkhwan expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and thanked the government for facilitating free and dignified meals.
