Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with a delegation of Tableeghi Jamaat in Islamabad and assured them full support. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary was also present on the occasion. The Tableeghi Jamaat delegation comprises Anwar Ghani, Iqbal Mian, Mohammad Amir, and Zahid Piracha. Chief Commissioner and Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Islamabad were also present during the meeting.

Mohsin Naqvi assured that the government will provide all kinds of support and facilitation to the participants of Tableeji Itema. Mohsin Naqvi said that government will facilitate for all overseas participants of Tablighi Ijtema. He said, “Wherever there is a visa-related issue, we will resolve it on a priority basis.” The delegations coming from abroad for the Ijtima are our respected guests. Every facility will be ensured for them at all levels.

”He said that special counters will be established for them at the airports. Mohsin Naqvi said that providing facilities to participants of the annual Tablighi Ijtema is our duty. It is necessary to mention here that last year, more than 15,000 participants from 108 foreign countries attended the annual gathering.
