Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday attended a three-way conference in Tehran along with his Iranian and Iraqi counterparts, aimed at mitigating problems being faced by the pilgrims visiting the region and border issues. Mohsin Naqvi joined Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari at the conference.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pak-Iran-Iraq trilateral conference will help resolve the problems of pilgrims. Speaking with his Iranian counterpart in Tehran, Mohsin Naqvi also expressed best wishes for Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian.Both the leaders have also discussed the issues of mutual interest and Pak-Iran relations.
Iranian Interior Minister expressed the hope that the visit of Mohsin Naqvi will certainly help in promoting Pak-Iran relations.Earlier, upon his arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, Mohsin Naqvi was warmly welcomed by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.Trilateral conference was being held at Pakistan's request to resolve pilgrims, border and other related issues.
