Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Faisalabad Interchange, reviewed the traffic flow around it, and directed that Faizabad project be further expanded. During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi directed the creation of a comprehensive management plan prior to the Faizabad Interchange remodelling Project. Mohsin Naqvi said that Faizabad Interchange will connect Rawalpindi to Islamabad.

Faizabad Interchange is the main entry point of Islamabad. He directed to use all available resources for beautification and attraction of Faizal Interchange. He said that any person who will enter Islamabad through Faizabad Interchange must feel a difference of beauty and excellent environment of Islamabad. On the occasion, Interior Minister directed to install attractive lights around Faizabad Interchange.
