Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Shaheen Chowk Underpass Project on Margalla Road in Islamabad Tuesday morning. During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi inspected the pace and quality of the ongoing construction work on the project. Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed the ongoing shattering work. Mohsin Naqvi directed that construction work should be completed on time and with high quality. Mohsin Naqvi further directed to increase the workforce to ensure early completion of the project.
Thousands of citizens traveling on Margalla Road will get relief from traffic jams with the completion of the project, Mohsin Naqvi said. He said students of educational institutions on Margalla Road will get convenience in transportation. On the occasion, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave a briefing on the progress of the project. He said in briefing that overall, 40 percent of the Shaheen Chowk Underpass Project has been completed.
