A mother and her son were injured when the roof of a room collapsed near Suraj Miani graveyard in Multan, here on Saturday . According to the Rescue control room, the emergency call was received about the collapse of a room's roof in a residential house. Rescue teams from the nearest station were immediately dispatched to the site.

Upon reaching the scene, officials found that the roof had collapsed while the mother and son were eating inside the room. Locals informed rescuers that both victims were buried under the debris.Rescue 1122 reached on the spot, provided them with first aid on the spot before shifting them to Nishtar Hospital for further treatment. The injured were identified as Rubina Bibi (45) and Adil (16).
