Proceedings of the National Assembly were suspended on Friday after the House failed to meet the required quorum. Soon after the session started, MNA Muhammad Iqbal Khan Afridi pointed out the lack of quorum, leading Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to order a headcount.
Following the count, the Speaker declared that the House was not in order and adjourned the sitting until the quorum was completed. The National Assembly was scheduled to take up question hour, calling attention notices, and the presentation of standing committee reports.
