Naqvi reviews construction work on Islamabad’s T-Chowk flyoverBreaking

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday visited T-Chowk flyover project early in the morning in Islamabad and reviewed the progress of construction work on the mega project. During his visit, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the quality and pace of development work. About 100 percent work of pile cap and grid casting has been completed while 60 percent work of protective walls of the project completed. Mohsin Naqvi expressed satisfaction over the progress of the development works of the project.

He directed comprehensive planning for the completion of the project keeping in mind the expansion of GT Road in the future. Mohsin Naqvi said the project should be completed on time and with high quality. No compromise on quality will be made in development projects, Mohsin Naqvi said. Interior Minister directed for beautiful landscaping and horticulture around the project. He said the T-Chowk flyover project will provide signal-free access to the capital for passengers coming from GT Road.

Mohsin Naqvi said public convenience and service is our biggest goal.  The Interior Minister was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing development work on the project. It was briefed that the project work is progressing as per the timeline and will be completed within the stipulated period. IG Islamabad Police, DC Islamabad, members of CDA and other officials were also present on this occasion.
