The Balochistan Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has predicted a fresh spell of rains across the province starting August 30, with showers expected to continue in different regions until September 2.According to the PDMA, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall in various districts of the province from August 30 to September 2.

These districts include Musakhel, Duki, Harnai, Loralai, Dera Bugti, and Kohlu.Similarly, thunderstorms and rain are also expected in Sibi, Kachhi, Zhob, Sherani, Kalat, Surab, Khuzdar, Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur, and Usta Muhammad. There is a risk of flash flooding in local streams and rivers due to the rains.PDMA has issued an advisory for tourists to remain cautious during the rainy period and has urged travelers to avoid unnecessary journeys.

Local administrations have been advised to remain on high alert during the forecast period and ensure that precautionary measures are in place to minimize potential losses. Citizens living in flood-prone or landslide-prone areas have been urged to exercise caution and follow safety advisories.
