The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Directorate has issued a new school timetable as dense fog continues to affect visibility across several districts. Under the revised schedule, schools in Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera and Swabi will now open at 9am until weather conditions improve.  Officials say the decision has been taken exclusively to ensure the safety of students who commute early in the morning. The Education Directorate has issued a formal notification to all districts, directing school heads to strictly follow the new instructions.  Authorities added that, if needed, the duration of classes may be reduced by five minutes to accommodate the shift in timing. The directive emphasizes that all schools in the affected districts must ensure strict implementation of the revised timetable. School administrations have been instructed to prioritize student well-being and adhere to the updated operating hours without exception.
