All official Basant activities will be under the same branding.Official trademark has been created to discourage fake posters and unauthorized events. This official logo will be mandatory on permits and promotional materials.Meanwhile, a loader truck full of kites was seized by the police while taking action against kite selling illegally in Shahdra Lahore.

According to SP City Bilal Ahmad, more than 12,000 kites were recovered and both the accused who brought illegal supply of kites under the guise of a license were arrested and a case has been registered against them. The accused were illegally ordering kites from Faisalabad and were going to sell them in Lahore.Shahdra Chowki Sagian Police took timely action and seized a vehicle full of kites. The accused were illegally ordering kites despite the ban.

The accused were using a loader vehicle and cardboard boxes to deliver kites.The vehicle used by the accused was also taken into custody by the police.As many as 12,600 ready-made kites worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were recovered from the possession of the accused and a case was registered. Kite flying and its purchase and sale will be allowed as per government orders.
