A powerful explosion near the Marai Check Post in Kohat left one person dead and four others seriously injured.Officials said the blast occurred inside a vehicle near the check post area. Police confirmed that the explosion took place in the rear portion of the vehicle, though the exact nature and cause of the blast have not yet been determined, according to media reports.  Following the incident, medical teams from Rescue 1122 and a heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene to carry out rescue and security operations. 

The injured were shifted to nearby medical facilities for emergency treatment, while police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in and around the blast site. Authorities said investigations are currently underway to determine the nature of the explosion and whether it was caused by explosive material or another factor. Police officials stated that more details regarding the incident would be released after the completion of the preliminary investigation.
