One robber was killed; another injured and held after an encounter with police here on Wednesday. DPO Rajanpur said that police team was on routine patrolling when robbers attacked in Bangla Iccha area. In retaliatory firing of police, one robber was killed, another injured and held while their accomplices managed to escape. Both robbers were wanted by police in various cases of murders, robberies, kidnapping and other crimes. The body and injured were shifted to hospital. The police cordoned off the area after the incident and launched search operation for fled robbers but no arrest could be made.
