Pakistan and Bangladesh agree to deepen border security cooperationتازترین

A meeting between the interior ministers of Pakistan and Bangladesh in New York has led to an agreement to strengthen cooperation on border security. Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh’s Interior Minister Salahuddin Ahmed met at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York. During the meeting, the two ministers agreed to expand cooperation against drugs, human trafficking, border security and other international crimes.

They also agreed to strengthen the exchange of intelligence information and improve contact between law enforcement agencies. The discussion also covered ways to increase joint efforts against human trafficking, border security and other international crimes. At the end of the meeting, the two sides renewed their resolve to promote mutual trust, regional peace and security.
