Pakistan Navy has successfully rescued 19 fishermen including Iranians after their boat stranded in the sea due to engine failure off Gwadar coast. According to a statement released by the Pakistan Navy on Thursday morning, fishing vessel AL JALALI, stranded about 120 NM south of Gwadar after engine failure was rescued. 

The search and rescue operation, coordinated through Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC), ensured the safety of all 19 crew members, including 11 Pakistanis and eight Iranians.

PNS TAIMUR provided food, drinking water and medical assistance before safely towing the vessel towards shore despite adverse monsoon conditions in the North Arabian Sea. The rescue operation underscores Pakistan Navy’s readiness to safeguard lives at sea and respond swiftly to maritime emergencies.
