Pakistan and Slovenia have agreed to remain in regular contact, bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks, to further advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.This came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon on sidelines of fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels. During the meeting, both leaders discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional & global developments.
They also signed an MOU establishing the mechanism for Bilateral Political Consultations between Pakistan and Slovenia. Ishaq Dar invited Minister Fajon to Islamabad for the inaugural round of consultations and encouraged Slovenia's participation in Pak-EU Business Forum to be held in April 2026.Meanwhile, Pakistan and Denmark have agreed to maintain close contact at multilateral fora, particularly as fellow non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for the term 2025-26.
The understanding to this effect came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen today on sidelines of fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.During the meeting, both leaders appreciated the positive trajectory of Pak-Denmark relations, and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral cooperation in economy, investment, trade, green energy, and people to people exchanges.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.During the meeting both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, and agreed to stay in close contact in this regard. Besides, Ishaq Dar met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands David van Weel.Both the Ministers discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and noted with appreciation the positive trajectory of relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
