The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration unit conducted an operation at Sialkot Airport, arresting two passengers for attempting to travel using forged documents. According to an FIA spokesperson, the detained individuals are identified as Muhammad Rashid and Muhammad Abu Bakr. Muhammad Rashid was already on the stop list due to a pending case registered under charges of murder and attempted murder at the Haji Pura police station in Sialkot. Meanwhile, Muhammad Abu Bakr arrived in Pakistan from Saudi Arabia on flight PK 244. During the immigration process, it was discovered that Abu Bakr's passport had been tampered with.
Initial investigations revealed that Abu Bakr had entered into a deal with an agent named Ali Ahmed for a fraudulent visa to Bosnia, costing him 3.2 million Pakistani Rupees. Abu Bakr initially traveled from Lahore to Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa, where the agent affixed a fake Bosnian visa sticker on his passport. However, when the attempt to enter Bosnia failed, he returned to Pakistan, tearing off the counterfeit visa sticker during his journey back. Further evidence of the fake Bosnian visa was also found on his mobile phone. Both suspects have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Gujranwala for further legal action and investigation.
