A woman was killed in a road accident,here on Saturday. According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson,the victim identified as Ghazala Nadeem(57) was crossing the road when a van heading towards Rawalpindi hit her.

As a result,she suffered a severe head injury and died on the spot. Rescue teams reached on the spot,shifted the body to Civil Hospital Lalamusa. Further investigation was underway.
