The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has completed magnificent horticultural work to enhance the beauty of the site under the Murree Road 6th Road Flyover.

According to the PHA spokesperson, colourful plants, beautiful flowers and excellent constructions for decoration have become the centre of attention of the public.

She said that Director General PHA, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, had instructed the relevant staff to improve the beauty of various places under the flyover and maintain a lush environment.

PHA was utilising all resources to decorate and beautify the parks and green belts across the city, aimed to provide the best recreational facilities to the public, she said and added that the PHA cultivated seasonal flowers on different city roads, which presented charming sights.

She said that the authority was also taking special measures to protect the plants and flowers from the effects of ongoing heavy rains, while standing water was also being removed from the parks.

Highlighting the importance of plantation, she urged the residents to plant more trees during the ongoing season, as plantation was vital to tackling climate change and promoting a green environment.
